DETERMINANT QUESTIONNAIRE
The purpose of this questionnaire is to help you assess your individualisticindividualistic cultures are more interested in individual potential than group potential; individualism is about "I" and not "We"; individualistic cultures place great value on freedom and democracy and collectivisticculturally, it is a view of ones self as part of a larger group or network such as family, friends, or co-workers tendencies. To find your individualism score, add your responses to the odd numbered items. To find your collectivism score, add your responses to the even numbered items. Both scores will range from 10 to 50. The higher your scores, the more individualistic and/or collectivistic your values are.
* The focus on self construal is important because how we conceive of ourselves is one of the major determinants of our behavior.
